Hyssop Herb. A drought-tolerant, hardy perennial herb, traditionally used in herbal medicine as a treatment for coughs and sore throats. Thin aromatic dark green leaves are produced on 24” bushy plants with attractive lavender blue flowers which are much loved by bees and butterflies alike. Blooms from early summer onwards. Easy to grow.

Cultivation Advice Hyssop Herb

• Sow indoors or propagator 6-8 weeks before the last frost date.
• Can be sown outdoors after all danger of frost has passed.
• Sown thinly and barely cover the seeds.
• Thin & transplant when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions.
• Prefers full sun to part shade.
• Readily self seeds if flowering stems are left to maturity.
