Tarragon Russian Artemisia Dracunculus. An attractive, bushy Perennial plant / herb which is more vigorous than traditional French Tarragon and with highly aromatic leaves. They are spicy sweet and used to flavour cold meat sauces, poultry, fish, eggs, cheese, salads, and salad dressings. Tarragon also makes good flavouring for vinegar. Height: 2-ft.

  • Light: Sunny To Part Shade
  • For best results start seed indoors before planting outdoors after all danger of frost has passed.
  • You may also sow seed directly outdoors (or transplant) in the spring in a sunny to partly shady location with well-drained soil, after all danger of frost has passed
  • Do not cover the seed, as light helps germination. Germinate at temperatures of 59-68F.
  • If started indoors, transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing them about 12 inches apart
  • If started outdoors, thin them about 12 inches apart.
  • Harvest leaves as and when required.
