Organic Herb Lovage LEVISTICUM OFFICINALE. Is a vigorous, hardy perennial herb which can grow up to 6 feet in height. With large leaves and slightly greenish yellow flowers similar in appearance and flavour to celery. All of the plant can be used in cooking. Excellent added to vegetable and meat dishes, soups and stews and as a bath herb.
Cultivation Advice Organic Herb Lovage LEVISTICUM OFFICINALE
- Sow in pots 1/2in deep from late March onwards undercover with warmth
- or directly into the final growing position after the last frost.
- For fully mature plants the spacing should be 18-24 In.
- Requires a good moist soil in a sunny position.
