Herbs Parsley Hamburg Root Very popular in mainland Europe where both the roots and leaves are widely used. Although the roots look similar to Parsnip its taste is sweet and tender more like that of a carrot.
Cultivation Advice
- The variety is actually a Bi-annual, but sown as an annual.
- Sow directly to the growing location March to May for a late summer crop or autumn for following year harvest
- Sow thinly 10-15mm deep as mature plants need 20-25 cm spacing.
- Germination can be very slow in cooler conditions.
- Thin seedlings as required for spacing.
