Bean-Yard Long-Un Metro Ramp New Yard Long Un Metro Ramp new. A classic Italian bean which is very popular. Grows up to 3 ft long in optimal conditions and has a superb flavour. Ready when It 12 inches long and very tender. Will not tolerate cold (USDA zones 10-11), nor wet or windy conditions and may be successfully grown in a very warm sheltered outside spot only within the UK. Plant out at outside around 4 weeks after you would set tomatoes outdoors. The vines are very vigorous and require significant supports as well as frequent watering. Continuous picking needed to promote production. Ideal for: Poly-tunnels, Glass houses and larger conservatoriesBest growth in these places.

Shield youthful plants from pests.
Secure young plants to supports with very loose ties. Later on these will be big, brassy beasts.
Top tip: Feed once flowers appears with a high-potash fertiliser for extra full, delicious and meaty fruit.
