Cultivation Advice
Can be sown in cool conditions spring or autumn, avoiding mid-summer and high temps.· Do not cover seed as these need light to germinate and maintain at 15 to 18C. Higher temperatures will produce poor / zero germination.· Grow the seedlings on in cool conditions until well established, then pot up individually into 9cm pots.· Best planted out from late spring onwards.
Maintain in pots and over winter as necessary in a cool, well-ventilated place.
Germination should begin to take place after about 10-14 days in ideal conditions.
Sow onto a moist, free-draining seed compost in a plug tray or seed tray and keep moist.
