Marrow Tiger Cross F1
Marrow Tiger Cross F1. A British bred F1 bush hybrid, delivering earlier and more prolific cropping than standard varieties. The attractive cream striped fruits can be picked young as Courgettes or allowed to mature. Good resistance to Cucumber mosaic virus. Height: 45cm (18″). Spread: 90cm (35″).
Cultivation Advice Marrow Tiger Cross F1
- Sow in Apr – May under cover in pots with warmth provided.
- Germinates at 20C.
- Early sowings are not required and lower temperatures will hamper germination.
- Transplant the seedlings to single pots
- prior to second leaves forming to ensure good root development.
- Prepare growing location with ample rotted organic matter
- Harden off before planting outside
- when at least the first set of true leaves have formed at 60cm apart from late May.
- We recommend protection from pests whilst young.
- Matures Jul -Sept.
