Marrow Long Green Bush 4 . A classic and reliable striped marrow variety producing good sized marrows on reasonably compact plants. Very productive and the bush habit is ideal for smaller spaces.

Cultivation advice

• Sow in Apr – May under cover in pots with warmth provided.
• Germinates at 20C. Early sowings are not required and lower temperatures will hamper germination.
• Ensure seedlings are transplanted to single pots prior to second leaves forming to ensure good root development.
• Prepare growing location with ample rotted organic matter
• Harden off before planting outside when at least the first set of true leaves have formed at 60cm apart from late May.
• Protection from pests is recommended whilst young.
• Matures Jul -Sep
