Lupin Russell The Chatelaine. An ever popular garden perennial producing spectacular spikes of dense pea-like flowers in pink shades with white flag. Colourful spike flowers stand out above attractive cut-leaf foliage. Especially effective in borders and for massing. Adapts to most soil types. Blooms from Spring to Summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting.

• When seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 12 to 24 inches apart.
• Replant thinned plants.
• Plant in a sunny location with well drained soil.
• Keep plants moderately moist.
• Cut the flower stalks after the first bloom to encourage formation of a second spike.
