Leaves are large and flat with very prominent white veins, succulent and with a flavour between cabbage and kale which gets sweeter after the first frost. 2 Feet in height with 18 Inch spread.

Cultivation Advice Kale Borecole Portugese

  • Sow in trays or open drills early spring for summer harvest or late summer for winter harvest.
  • When large enough to handle transplant to 18 inch apart and water well until established.
  • Leaves can be progressively harvested from the outside of the crown for continued production.
