Germination is slow and often low, with temperature being critical, however once under way very easy to grow on. 90-110 days from germination and 6-8 weeks to dry inside.

Cultivation Advice 

• Sow inside from 4-6 weeks before the last frost in good quality moist compost at 2 seeds per pot.
• Ensure seeds are maintained at 70-85F during germination to avoid rotting.
• Low temperatures are the most common reason for seed failure.
• Best started in an airing cupboard or heated propagator.
• Transplant outdoors in when soil is warm.
• and plant in a warm, sheltered sunny location.
• Add mulch after planting out to prevent soil from drying out.
