GARLIC WILD – RAMSONS New A British native perennial herb, wild garlic. Can be found on the banks of streams and in shaded wooded areas. Carpeting in the ground with white flowers and their strong spring fragrance.The leaves are edible and can be used in salads and to flavour meat dishes and sauces. The plants produce leaves from early spring and flowers from Apr-Jun dying back in late summer. The plants need a moist loamy soil with a damp shady environment to grow.
