The plant group has numerous micro species adapted to a variety of growing conditions. Our seed is harvested from lowland meadows.
Cultivation Advice
- Dandelions can be an important source of nectar for bees, butterflies, and hoverflies early in the year and the seed is eaten by finches.
- Extremely popular and nutritious grown for Tortoise food.
- Sow in any soil type on the open disturbed ground or in trays at any time of the year.
- The seed requires light to germinate therefore does not cover the seed.
- Best pressed or firmed lightly into wet soil / growing medium.
- Keep moist lightly watered until germinated.
