Broccoli Rudolph for Quick and Abundant Sprouting. Early crop of quite large purple sprouting broccoli. It could be sowing in Oct or a late autumn sow from Dec to Mar. Best quality spears, becoming succulent are produced on large plants with vigour and resilience. Space plants 18-24 inches apart in rows spaced from a minimum of 2 feet to no greater than three foot allowance.Thin or transplant at 2 inches tall.

Direct sow in the garden or on trays.
Sprinkle the seeds with 1/8 inch of fine soil.
Moderately moist soil must be maintained during germination.
Set plants 18 to 24 inches apart in rows as far apart as space allows (2 to 3 feet wide).
Thin/Transplant To 2 inches tall.
Broccoli prefers a site with full sun except during the heat of summer.

If you crop out the main head early, and not let it fully form a full sized cabbage like that in the market stores after which several bunch of small heads will emerge.
