Description
Broccoli Calabrese Early Green Sprouting Organic
Broccoli Calabrese Early Green Sprouting Organic is a hardy Italian heirloom variety with earlier (Faster) maturing. It grows to 30-36 in. high, with blue-green central heads are only 3-6 inches across but full of flavor and followed by abundant smaller side shoots on erect leafy plants After main head removal, this type will provide multiple side/cauliflower heads throughout the season. It turns out that while the heads are usually harvested for food, you can also eat the stalks, buds and leaves of this variety. Longer than what you’d expect from a standard type, about 120 days to maturity. Will stand deep into winter.
