Annual Flowers-Sunflower Chocolate
Sunflower Chocolate-Annual Flowers Unique branching sunflower “Chocolate” offers a profusion of 4-5 inch dark chocolate coloured, yellow striped flowers. It forms strongly branched plants to 5-6ft with an 18in spread. Great to use as a border or in garden beds, it’s also wonderful fresh cut for arrangements.

Start seeds 3 to 4 weeks before last spring frost indoors Or you can plant the seeds directly in your garden, sewing them 1/4 inch deep and outdoors after all dangers of frost have passed. Sow up to 100 days before last frost.
Once seedlings reach 2 to 3 inches high, transplant into plantable pots. Replant thinned plants.
Guard from Snails/Slugs when youthful
Harden off gradually before planting out after all risk of frost has gone.
Can be staked / supported in open areas.
