Cultivation Advice 

February – June, or September – October.

Seeds should be sown in spring or late summer under cover, just covered with warm fine sandy seed compost and then placed into pots/trays

. Add only a very fine layer of compost or vermiculite over the seeds as this helps germination.

At 15-20C, germination takes an average of between 7 and 14 days.

Transfer to larger pots individually when seedlings are large enough to handle.

Harden off and plant out after all risk of frost has passed.

Plant out at 30-40cm0 in well-drained soil in full sun.
