CALENDULA NOVA. Great for any border with striking orange flower petals and a deep round center. You will not be disappointed with this easy-going variety – it flowers all summer on long stems with massive blooms. Good in cut arrangements or the flowers are edible and add to any salad. This is pretty easy to grow and will readily self seeds itself for the following year.

- In temperate winter areas, plant seeds late summer – early autumn for spring or possibly fall blooming.
- Sprinkle lightly with about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of soil. Water: Water moderately during germination.
- When seedlings are 2 inches high, thin seedlings to low-density planting (8-10) apart. Transplant thinned plants.
- Deadhead for sparser and smaller flowers. Best in full sun or part shade
- Easy to grow. Calendula are not fussy when it comes to soil.
- Simply allow these last flowers of the year to remain in place and they will re-seed themselves for next spring.
