Broccoli Calabrese Early Green Sprouting An Earlier (Faster) maturing hardy Italian heirloom variety growing to 30-36 inches tall, producing flavorful 3-6 inch blue green central heads; followed by prolific smaller side shoots on erect leafy plants. After the initial head is removed this type will keep making a lot of side-shoots in one season. While this broccoli is typically grown for its heads, the stalks, buds and leaves common to all broccoli are also all edible. Matures in approximately 120 days, which is faster than the regular version. Will stand deep into winter.
