- Early Cropping Sow indoors as early in Spring as possible.
- Or you can plant seeds directly outside in the late spring after last frost.
- Sow seed lightly with a teaspoon of 1/8 inch fine soil.
- Sow seeds directly outside or begin by midsummer indoors for a later fall-winter crop.
- During top growth, lightly moist soil
- When seedlings are 2 inches tall thin to 2 inches apart or transplant to individual pots.
- Harden off seedlings and transplant outdoors once dangerous frost has left.
- In a hole or trench under good conditions plant on the 18 to 24 inch distance in soft soil and make rows at least two feet apart according to available garden space.
- Brussels Sprouts do best in full sun, with a fertile well-drained slightly compacted soil.
- Harvest mature sprouts from the bottom of plant up as heads form
